Dr. Yeisley is a relatively recent resident of Arizona, having moved here in 2015 from back East. A native of Pennsylvania, she attended the University of Pennsylvania for undergraduate, as well as graduate and veterinary school. She has an extensive research background in biochemistry and biophysics, as well as veterinary medicine. She has had experience in a variety of aspects of veterinary medicine, including exotics and zoo animals, wildlife, avian species, reptiles—both small and large animals alike. She was co-owner of a rural mixed animal practice for over 25 years before relocating to Arizona and provided consultation and relief services to a number of facilities including small animal emergency facilities. She has also volunteered with several groups to provide services for Native American Reservations and works with rescue groups for dogs, cats, horses as well as others. She has special interests in surgery, reproduction and endocrinology as well as exotics. She has also been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and has a special interest in avian orthopedics and raptor medicine. Dr.Yeisley looks forward to providing services to Flagstaff area pet owners when their pets need urgent care and overnight services.
