Dr. Kate James came to Arizona from the deep south about 4 years ago. She decided that four seasons (especially fall) are better than two, and so far, Flagstaff has not disappointed. Before moving to Flagstaff, she practiced small animal medicine in small clinics around Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas.
Dr. James graduated with her DVM from Mississippi State in 2008 and returned there for a residency in Clinical Pathology from 2010 to 2013. Her special interests in Veterinary Medicine include Feline Medicine, Pathology, Beekeeping, and Small Animal Surgery.
Dr. James lives in Flagstaff with a dog, too many cats, even more chickens, bees and a rabbit. She hopes to someday conquer a snowboard and maybe even try skis, but for now, has spent most of her time online gaming and taking care of her "farm."
